Multi-Family Projects

Razor Component Systems, Inc. focuses on producing top quality and high volume factory built components, consisting of roof and floor trusses, wall panels and components, for site-built multi-family, both tract and custom single-family, and commercial construction.  Located near Hilton Head Island, on over 21 acres with an additional 11 acre planned expansion in summer 2004.

Razor gets the bulk of it's high strength "Southern Yellow Pine" from local lumber mills located just hours from the plant!

Razor  is a member in good standing to the  Wood Truss Council of America , National Home Builder Association;  South Carolina Component Manufacturers Association,; Truss Plate Institute.  

Third Party Quality Inspections on Razor's product's are performed by the Truss Plate Institute (TPI).  TPI's mission is to maintain the wood truss industry on a sound engineering basis. To accomplish this, TPI establishes methods of design and construction for wood trusses in accordance with ANSI's accredited consensus procedures for coordination and development of American National Standards.
